The Westport/South Beach Historical Society's Maritime Museum houses the Fresnel lens from the Destruction Island Lighthouse on the Washington Coast. This is a first-order Fresnel lens made in France in the mid-1800's with 1,176 prims and 24 bull's-eyes that can project a beam of light 26 miles.
Grays Harbor Lighthouse in Westport, WA was commissioned on June 30, 1898 and is the tallest lighthouse in the state standing at 107 feet high and is still use today.
