Broughton flume #4 022173: This nine mile long log flume photographed on Feb. 21, 1973 was used from 1923 to Dec. 19, 1986 to transport logs to a sawmill located at Hood, WA on the shores of the Columbia River. Also, it was the location for the 1967 Walt Disney movie titled, Charlie the Lonesome Cougar.
